A really great gamebook-style game. An original time-travelling concept; your goal is to revisit different periods in your life, making small alterations, and then seeing how your choices affect your future, ultimately seeing a satisfying conclusion to the game. Occasionally a little repetitive, as you comb through the different periods in your life looking for opportunities to make new choice. But really compelling overall.
It took me awhile to play through entirely, and it was an incredible journey. The Paradox Factor though not very popular is a wonderful and thought provoking game. The story was thrilling and kept me up all night long wondering if I could ever fix everything. Ive always been a stickler for perfection, I love things to go my way and I cannot handle the death of others. This game shows you just how imperfect life really is, so what are you willing to live with to save the ones you love?
If you have any doubts on buying this game, banish them and buy it!
Very fun but difficult to play need a walk through
Not as good as some stories but the have written worse
I love this game, the story is amazing, how it uses time travel is done correctly, and how each choice changes the story dramatically is lovely, but my game doesnt save, I wish that I could return to my game after I accidentally go to the home or my phone crashes. Please fix this problem because Im tired of redoing everything to finish the game which I havent done yet.
Its not a bad app you have something good here. What you need to do though is make it where you have more choices about what can happen so you will actually be able to effect something. Its too structured for being this type of game. You also need to have the stats thing work and also fix the save game problem I dont want to restart every time I close the app.
One of the better choice of games though it is a little repetitive
Whatever it is, its different and worth the buy. The story is very engaging and I would recommend this game to anyone. Unlike other choice games, this one has more of the feel of a puzzle, a feel which contributes greatly to the story. The writing isnt the most immersive, but the storys complexity requires that certain immersive details be left out. So I really cant count that against it. From what I read, the timelines are expertly crafted and the unforeseen consequences mind boggling. It has a unique feel to it that other choice games dont have. Get it, its worth the price.
This game has shown just how far choice has fallen I was happy when they redeemed themselves with Stables but this is just pure garbage. They say there are several different endings yet Im not sure how possibly two would count as anything. The story doesnt change at all regardless as your stuck in an endless loop of boredom literally trying to find a way out. The way this game was written is sloppy and poor to say the least. There is no really story development, and never anyway to judge your actions regardless of what they are. Dear storyboard writes please stop ripping off movies and trying to add a poorly written copy. Overall I say fire everyone who thought this was worth writing and discredit anyone who thought this actual had a good story. It was lazily done and poorly written. This officially ends me buying their games until several reviews have came out.
The whole thing is beautifully crafted, and it becomes very difficult to put your iPhone down after a little while, once the story starts kicking in for real. Highly recommended!
This game is amazing, confusing, and has twists everywhere just how things would be in a time story, I 100 percent think people should give this a try.
I actually really liked this game. It can be a little repetitive but there will be a little subtle difference that you have to pay attention to, Ill admit there was a couple of times where I was like "UGH!" But I really loved my ending. Its just a different type of choice game which I was open enough to test out and dont regret it. Good job Lucid!! Keep up the great work!
This game is really cool. Sort of a mix between Primer, Eternal Sunshine, and a Choose Your Own Adventure book. Good stuff!
Its a great game, but could you add something to keep track over who you saved and who died? Also, some hints for oblivious and kinda stupid players like me? Thanks!
This is one of the few stand out CYOA games ive played in a long time.. The plot was good, time travel esque, where every change you make in the past have unforeseen consequences.. Totally recommend it to any CYOA gamers out there..
This whole story idea and the options change so much, its so...just amazing
It is very fun and it is also pretty hard to get the perfect ending but its fun to try
This app is amazing the story is great but its just so depressing for me trying to save everyone yet someone else is always affected negatively ;c haha but really its a great story so yeah five stars from me c:
